The Weavers Guild of Springfield

This year's study group project will be a towel exchange led by Ute Bargmann.

Study group activities will begin at the September meeting, with Ute giving an introduction about how to weave towels and sharing some weave structures that works well for toweling.

General guidelines:

• Fiber: Cotton, linen, cottonlin, ramie, or hemp (no wool).
  
  
• Size: Minimum 18” x 25” finished.
  
  
• Finishing: Hemmed or hemstitched, washed and pressed.
  
  
• Quantity: To be discussed at the September meeting.
  
  
• Include a copy of your pattern and drawdown, and the source of the pattern if not original, on a draft sheet. If you don't have a draft sheet, contact Ute or purchase one from the Guild Library.
  
  
• End date: All towels will be handed in at the March meeting.
